Ah, this hot weather. What better way to escape the sun then to head inside a National Guard armory and buy art and art supplies. Yes, ’tis another Artists’ Garage Sale sponsored by the Olympia Arts Commission. Consider it a metaphor for your search for meaning in life. It’s sunny, and you head inside to look for something new — or figure out what you’re looking at. Anyway, as you embark on this journey, there is an upside. It’s an absolute blast. Besides all the beautiful and confusing art, one will find art books, mats, frames, brushes, Match Box Car parking garage with Cheerleader Barbie’s megaphone, paint, jewelry and more. Last year I found the meaning of life during the Artists’ Garage Sale. Wouldn’t you like to know?
