Back in the day Bobble Tiki wrote a weekly music column in the Weekly Volcano. The HBO series Deadwood killed the column. The series' opening fiddle summoned Bobble Tiki to a dirty 1870s town (barely) built in the Dakotas territory by colorful outlaws and lowlifes, (barely) held together by its own moral codes and general distain for the slowly encroaching U.S. government (Bobble Tiki). He flat out disappeared. Old-timey music became part of Bobble Tiki's life. Bobble Tiki is back and will be front row and center when Olympia alt-bluegrass band The Pine Hearts, Tacoma old timey meets folk-punk band The Cottonwood Cutups and rustygrass band The Rusty Cleavers pitch a tent inside Bob's Java Jive. It will be a cacophony of spirited group-singing and hoops and hollers. Bobble Tiki apologizes in advance for any CS-bombs he might drop.
