ROBBY SWIGER: One sexy bartender

The Mix

By Volcano Staff on June 6, 2011

WEEKLY VOLCANO: Who are you and what do you do?

ROBBY SWIGER: My name is Robby, and it is an honor to be validated.  By night I bartend at The Mix. By day I whittle unicorns and fairies out of driftwood at Point Defiance.

VOLCANO: Biggest turn-ons?

SWIGER: The outdoors, rock and roll, breakfast foods and robots. Not in that particular order.

VOLCANO: Biggest turn-offs?

SWIGER: Stagnancy.

VOLCANO: How do you explain your victory in the 2011 Weekly Volcano Sexy Issue? Obviously you're doing something right. ...

SWIGER: I greatly attribute my victorious triumph to three things:  A series of awkwardly timed salacious squats. An army of small shirts had A LOT to do with it. And I have also recently returned from southeast Asia where I hear there are untraceable parasites with pheromonal qualities.

VOLCANO: Is it ever difficult being so hot?

SWIGER: BEING HOT IS SO DIFFICULT. Thank you for understanding.

VOLCANO: What's your favorite thing about where you live and work? What makes it sexy?

SWIGER: My favorite thing about the Northwest is its people. My favorite thing about Tacoma and The Mix alike would have to be its rawness and ability to transmorphicate. Culture is sexy. Biking and beer are sexy.  Reading is sexy. Music and art are way sexy. Heck, Tacoma is sexy.

VOLCANO: Given the opportunity, one thing you'd like to say is:

SWIGER: SHOUT OUT TO MY MOM!! Also, all those who wander are not lost. So grin like a dog and wander.
