Tacoma Restaurant Week actually takes place over two weeks running Oct. 16-20 and Oct. 23-27, 2022. Each restaurant will offer a three course dinner ranging from $30 to $58 and the restaurants open for lunch will offer a two course lunch ranging from $15 to $25.

Tacoma Restaurant Week is a great excuse to catch up with friends you haven't seen in awhile or to plan your next date night. It is also the opportunity to try a restaurant you haven't eaten at before at a lower price point.

This fall, 12 restaurants are participating including, Farrelli's Pizza (Tacoma Sixth Ave. location only), Bar Bistro, Crudo & Cotto, The Adriatic at Oakbrook, Melting Pot Tacoma, The Social, WildFin American Grill, Stanford's Steak, Millhouse Restaurant, Copper & Salt at Point Ruston, Marzano Italian Restaurant and Table 47 at Ocean 5.

Restaurant menus are posted at www.TacomaRestaurantWeek.com. Check it out to help decide where to eat. For example, Copper & Salt is offering both lunch and dinner restaurant week specials.

For lunch, the first course choice is between Rucola with pears, shaved fennel, candied walnuts, and balsamic vinaigrette; or Fritti Misto with spring onions, fennel, kombucha squash and lemon herb aioli. For the second course, the choice is between Cacio e Pepe with bucatini, pecorino romano, black pepper, and burro; or Grilled Tuna with garbanzo puree, za'tar, watercress, lemon, and brown butter.

Dinner options at Copper & Salt are the same options as lunch for the first course. The second course offers the Grilled Tuna or Skirt Steak with tomato, garlic, parmigiano, arugula, and saba. For the third course, choose either Panna Cotta with citrus and croccante dolce or Butter Cake with candied ginger, roasted apple and vanilla ice cream.

Tacoma Restaurant Week is a very popular event, so here are some tips to make your visits successful and to help support the restaurants which are continuing to be challenged with a labor shortage and supply chain issues.

  • Make a reservation and if possible, keep your group small. Many of the restaurants use OpenTable.com which is a convenient way to make all the reservations at once.
  • Review the menus at www.TacomaRestaurantWeek.com and know what you want to order.
  • Ordering off just the restaurant week menu helps the kitchen with the increased business.
  • Be patient and plan for a leisurely meal, and generously tip based on what a meal would normally cost not the discounted restaurant week price.

Menus and restaurants will continue to be updated on www.TacomaRestaurantWeek.com until the event starts on Oct. 16, 2022. Join in this culinary tradition and explore Tacoma's restaurants.
