This quaint little place tucked along a hill in Gig Harbor, took home the prestigious Washington Wine Restaurant of the Year at the 2008 Taste Washington awards ceremony. It has an outstanding wine list, and you have to with a name such as Brix 25°.

We loved the fact that when we sit down at our table the staff brings us a complimentary half-glass of sparkling wine – every time. 

Dishes we recommended dishes: sausage-stuffed ravioli, rack of lamb, specialties of wild salmon and Alaskan halibut and "Brix Signature Boeuf Bourguignon" – delicious short ribs that are slow-braised with cipollini, crimini mushrooms, carrots, and smoked bacon served in a rich Burgundy sauce.

They also make a stunning baked apple with crème Anglais.
