RED HOT RAINIERS

The Tacoma Rainiers welcome The Red Hot to Cheney Stadium (2502 S. Tyler St., Tacoma) for their 2015 season. Beginning on Opening Day, 7 p.m. Friday April 17, The Red Hot will be among the home plate side dining options offering compelling hot dog concoctions in the name of America's favorite pastime. Think peanut butter, bacon and Cracker Jacks, or cream cheese, grilled onion, tomato and celery salt that can be offered up with and vegan or vegetarian friendly dog options. The Red Hot will even claim the role as Cheney's new "Best Hot Dog in Baseball." All surely will have you humming, "Take me out to the ball game."

SERVICE INDUSTRY NIGHT

For those who work in the service industry, you know many joints offer incentive for their fellow servers, bartenders and cooks to sit on the other side of the rail and receive the service. This includes Proctor District Italian joint Pomodoro (3819 North 26th Street, Tacoma) that offers a whopping 25 percent discount to fellow service friends on Monday nights. Just bring in a paystub.

GO FUND THEM

Sasquatch Cinnamon Rolls bakery has launched a gofundme.com campaign to crowdfund to begin full-time breakfast service at Freighthouse Square (2501 E. D St., Tacoma). If their other breakfast staples match the flavor and behemoth size of their cinnamon rolls, early birds are in for a treat, assuming they receive the support.

EASTER

Social Bar and Grill (1715 Dock Street, Tacoma) will open at 11 a.m. Easter Sunday as per norm, but will be serving up a special menu including a couple Benedict options, French toast and even resurrecting their popular PBLT-OME, which includes pork belly, lettuce, and an over medium eggs served on a brioche bun with Sambal Chili paste.
