Bobble Tiki never attend weddings for the food, or for the entertainment. Both are usually about as dry as a Dame Maggie Smith film. Not the case when former Volcano scribe Doug Mackey and Lynn celebrated their marriage with family and friends Saturday at his former house in the northern of Tacoma.  The informal reception offered foods from around the globe, although Bobble Tiki was diasappointed with the lack of barbecue since the two now live in Texas. 
Those  who know Doug wouldn't be surprised that the musical entertainment consisted of another impromptu jam in the basement.  Although the lamps and Tacoma memorabilia reside in eight boxes, the instruments are still down there where Mackey, Evan Purcell, Eric Perdue, Heather Lum and others performed songs from their past bands including Cause And Effect, Moonyard, Prarie Dogs, Mister Blackwatch and a few treats from Iron Butterfly, Led Zeppelin and "Sweat Leaf" by Black Sabbath.
