VanillaiceMTV reports: If you listen to rap music, you're more likely to use alcohol and drugs and to behave in an aggressive manner - at least according to a new study by the nonprofit Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation.
More than 1,200 California community-college students ages 15-25 took part in the study - titled "Music, Substance Use and Aggression" - and answered survey questions about their music-listening habits, use of alcohol and drugs and "aggressive behaviors," such as fighting or threatening people with violence after these young slouchy students
are so strung out on inane rapid-fire special effects and video-game violence nothing but nothing will even slightly fire their synapses except further and further bizarre mutations and combinations of the ultraviolent high-octane action-adventure films with rap soundtracks.
"It's a good thing we don't play music on our network anymore, especially rap music," an MTV spokesperson didn't say as he worked the joystick in front of "Hell Anger Lightning Freak Extreme Truck Killaz VII," featuring kung fu, bichin' street racing, sharks attacks, nail guns, and a hardcore rap soundtrack.
