May 22 is the target date for the opening of Duke's Chowder House occupying the old Luciano's on the Ruston Way waterfront.  Duke's, a longtime Seattle institution, serves an excellent bar and grill menu and, of course, a mean clam chowder.  A Duke's in Tacoma is a true reason to celebrate.  The management, however, said May 22 is the target, however, shit (our word) happens so call them first at (206) 937-6100. â€"  Jason de Paul
