Tattooed, just-turned 21 girls gather in groups at neighborhood bars with busy fingers. Blonde haired, suburban, 30-something ladies meet in cute cafés with busy fingers. Some claim it’s not so much about the knitting itself but the company of other women â€" that instant bond of a shared interest. Many are meeting their new best friends over a ball of yarn.
