Dale Chihuly and cohorts were at the Museum of Glass this morning to announce “Chihuly in Tacoma Week” Aug. 8-13.
Chihuly and some 20 to 25 internationally renowned glass artists will work in the museum hot shop that week, and glass works will be displayed throughout town for this special event celebrating Tacoma’s most famous (living) native son.
“I’m very excited about the opportunity to return to my hometown in August to work with a great group of talented artists on some of my favorite series here at the Museum of Glass,” Chihuly said.
