Atouchofjazz A picture is worth a thousand words. Which is why every self-respecting writer bears a passionate, soul-crushing hatred for photographers. Stupid, freakin’, technological, arrr ... arrr. ... But then this begs a question: What does a photograph do for music? How much of the musical experience can be translated from sound into sight, Mr. High and Mighty Photographer? Oh, ummm, photographer/musician Richard Duval's "A Tough of Jazz" exhibit, you say? Featuring photos of jazz musicians with color highlight touches? Ah, man. Check it tonight when Duval hangs with his works in Jazzbones' balcony, which opens tonight though June 24.  And Teddy Haggerty and Laura Ecklund host their Art Slam on the main floor.  June 7, 7 p.m., Randy Oxford's Blues Theatre at 8 p.m., Jazzbones. â€" Suzy Stump
