Tonight five local blues bands will battle it out at Jazzbones. The winner of tonight's Journey to Memphis jam-off will have a chance, at some point, to go to Memphis for Blues Foundations International Blues Challenge. Tonight's contestants will include Blues Alliance 6-6:30 p.m.; Back ‘n’ Blue from 7-7:30 p.m.; James Howlett 8-8:30 p.m.; Loose Gravel and the Quarry 9-9:30 p.m.; Michal Miller 10-10:30 p.m.; and In the House 11-11:30 p.m. From midnight to closing, there will be a ridiculous (in a good way) mega-jam featuring all those remaining.  June 3, 6 p.m., 21+, $10, Jazzbones. â€" Paul Schrag
