Syren Lounge & Nightclub (1117 Tacoma Ave., downtown Tacoma) opened for business with a private party last night after the months and months we waited for this swanky, hip spot to further liven up Tacoma.  The Weekly Volcano's own Ginger Knoxx was there teasing Natasha for taking the bus to work today (cat fight).  Volcano's Dame of Advertising, Tabitha, gave high marks to Syren â€" she especially loved Syren's signage, the psychodelic wall, and the outrageaous sound system.  I, on the other hand, hit on the pretty ladies (shocker for me that Chad, Syren's owner, invited his whole family â€" I hope there's no hard feelings).  Tonight is opening night for the masses â€" see ya there at 8 p.m. for the free musical stylings of The Lost Boys, Gene Lee, Sean Majors and DJ dAb. â€" Brad Allen.
