Night of the Living Tribute Bands photos

By weeklyvolcano on October 29, 2006

Although it's been done in the past, this seems to be the year that the idea of rock bands performing as other, more famous rock bands has caught on as the Halloween thing to do.  Last night at the Capitol Theater, Olympia rockers banded together to perform hits from The Sex Pistols, The Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Blondie, Iggy and the Stooges, and Operation Ivy to raise funds for the theater's sound equipment.

While I will review Night of the Living Tribute Bands in Thursday's print edition of the Weekly Volcano, I thought I'd post a few photographs from the fun night, including Jimmi Davies who nailed Johnny Rotten, a female Iggy Pop, and costume contest winner who dressed as Elliot from "E.T."
