The 11 days of cookies: Day One

On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me: A Mandolin Café oatmeal raisin cookie.  Its soft texture and moderately sweet flavor, with smallish bits of nuts had me scarfing hungrily and aching for more as I licked at crumbs. â€" Jessica Corey-Butler
