Susie’s more liberal mom would buy us a bottle of the “wine” and set us loose for a few hours of drinking and making out. Within a year or two, Bartles & Jaymes strawberry wine coolers had hit the market and became the drink du jour for us trendy Bobble Tikis. After that, Boones Farm looked like, well, MD 20/20.
