Club Masa

By weeklyvolcano on June 11, 2007

The next time you roll into Masa, you might notice something a little different beneath those hipster shoes of yours. The proprietors there have installed a dance floor in one half of their formal dining room. Tables will sit on the dance floor for lunch and dinner, but once the eating crowd has made their exit, all of the tables will be cleared at 10 p.m. for some serious rug cutting, called Club Masa. A Latin DJ will spin salsa, merengue, reggaeton and enough hip-hop to get those rumps shakin' every Friday and Saturday until closing, starting Friday, June 15. I have just appointed myself as Masa's first ever go-go dancer. Somebody say hooooo! — Natasha
