Paige Lawson, 7, won the Tacoma Jr. Idol title with the song “The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow” as a mist cooled the Saturday evening crowd at the South End Recreation Area.  The Gig Harbor girl won a check for $250 and will compete at the Jr. Battle of the Idols Sept. 15 at the Puyallup Fair.

The adults will battle it out Saturday, Sept. 1 at Vassault Park. â€" Michael Swan
