Beerific

Where there’s beer, there’s burping, and where there’s beer-burping, there’s smiling. Beer aficionados from near and far are group hugging at Oktoberfest celebrations throughout the South Sound.

Steve Dunkelberger wrote about said celebrations in his Beervana column in this week’s Weekly Volcano.

Here are a couple more beer centric celebrations:

The Parkway Tavern presents its Miller Hi-Life Kegerator Night Wednesday, Sept. 26, 6-9 p.m.  Drop by the Stadium District hang out before Wednesday’s party and sign up to win a kegerator.

Doyle’s Public House will pitch an Oktoberfest tent in its parking lot Friday night for live music, beer, food and shot specials.  Friday night The F***ing Eagles will rock the parking lot.  Saturday, it’s Celtic and alt country tunes by Stout Pounders, Westerly and Ockham’s Razor.  Both shows start at 9 p.m. and don’t carry a cover charge. â€" Brad Allen
