Cort Ockfen, golfing and drinking friend of the Weekly Volcano’s, and his pregnant wife, Liz, returned from a doctor’s appointment this morning to find the Lakewood police swarming Liz’s mom’s house where the Ockfen’s currently are house-sitting.

“We were surprised to see six patrol cars in front of the house and cops everywhere,” explains Cort Ockfen. “Then, coming out from our backyard comes three cops with a cuffed guy that they quickly stuffed into a patrol cruiser and took off.

“After jokingly telling us that they busted our 'grow operation' they went on to tell us that a bank robber had robbed a KeyBank in Tacoma and crashed into a car off the Gravelly Lake Drive and I-5 exit. He then fled over the fence into our yard where he was apprehended.”

Apparently the Ockfen's dog slept through the whole incident.
