Friendly construction workers have ripped down the green awning that graced Red Kelly's jazz joint at 11th and Tacoma Avenue South in downtown Tacoma. The men claim the building was purchased by a law firm. The workers had only heard of the bar but never knew Red or drank there. They sure missed out.
