MATT DRISCOLL: A BLAST OF FOOT STOMPIN’ >>>

Imagine if Blitzen Trapper and the Quiet Ones played Le Voyeur in Olympia â€" the tiniest and most excellently eclectic room rooted in our Capitol City.

That, my friend, would be pretty fucking cool.

Johntotten Well, tonight it won’t exactly be Blitzen and the Quiet Ones taking the stage at Le Voyeur â€" but it’ll be pretty damn close. That’s because John Totten, leader of Seattle’s Quiet Ones, and Marty Marquis of Blitzen Trapper fame, are embarking on a three-date, joint-venture solo tour that will bring both artists to Olympia on the last day of July.

That, my friend, is pretty fucking cool.

While it’s hard to gauge for sure just what this show will offer â€" since without their respective bandmates and bands it’s tough to say what Marquis or Totten will throw down at Le Voyeur â€" it’s safe to say whatever these two decide to unleash should be good. According to the Quiet Ones blog, “this will entail a lot of acoustic sing-a-longs and foot stompin',” writes Totten of his tour with Marquis.

Who doesn’t like foot stompin’? Sing-a-longs, anyone?
