Perusing FeedTacoma this afternoon, I was disappointed to see the news being reported on Exit133.

According to the site:

The word on the street is that The New Frontier Lounge, in the Tacoma Dome District, is closing, at least temporarily, after just 3 weeks. It recently hosted the Squeak and Squawk music festival. We hope the temporary is truly temporary.


That sucks royally. Hopefully the closure is, indeed, temporary. The New Frontier was the place to be during the Squeak and Squawk Festival. As far as live music venues go in this town, the New Frontier has the promise to be special. Let's all cross our fingers and hope the hiatus is short.
