As part of National Pancake Day today, participating IHOP restaurants will be giving out free short stacks of buttermilk pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. â€" no coupon or purchase necessary. IHOP patrons, however, are asked to donate the price of the meal â€" or more â€" to a local children's hospital or charity.
