MATT DRISCOLL: HAD TOO MUCH TO DRINK (SMOKE) LAST NIGHT >>>

You didn’t think I’d be able to resist, did you? You didn’t think I’d show rarely flashed self-control?

Well, if you did, bubba, prepare to be disappointed.

As I’m sure you’ve caught wind of by now, a 17-year-old Peninsula High School student made waves earlier this week â€" lighting up a J as part of a presentation he was giving in the schools performance hall about why he believes marijuana should be legalized. Apparently, about 150 students and teachers were present, and after smoking said joint in front of all of them, the student ate the charred remains.

Of course, he was then arrested and sent to Remann Hall. This is what happens when high school students toke up in the middle of school â€" whether they’re trying to make a point or not.

For this week’s Volcano editorial, I weighed in on Peninsula High’s new pot proponent.
