Thursday night music at Doyle’s just feels right â€" despite the fact it may seem weird at first. Sure, upon hunkering down at Doyle’s you’ll be engulfed by the charm of an Irish sports bar, and you’ll be surrounded by soccer jerseys and Irish Whiskey â€" two of the surest signs that an establishment caters to a predominantly sports-loving, penis-having crowd; but that doesn’t mean Doyle’s doesn’t also have the mojo to make hosting live music look natural. Bartender/ promoter Jesse Turcotte makes sure of it. Tonight, the jazzy, jammy Josh Hegg will awe onlookers with his mad acoustic guitar skill. The dude is so good he needs two MySpace profiles. And yes, he’s friends with himself.
