Just when I'm starting to think there's nothing new under the sun, I discovered Sausage on a Stick at Best Burgers in Lakewood. The drive-through restaurant stabs a long sausage link with a stick then wraps a deep-fried pancake around it. It resembles a corn dog, except the juicy sausage is smothered in sweet pancake. It will set you back $1.99.

Breakfast runs all day at Best Burgers, which is 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
