RON SWARNER: OKTOBERFEST AT DOYLE’S >>>

Doyle's

October means three things: beer, beer and beer. (So does September as many pubs launch their Oktoberfests long before Oct. 1.)

What better place to celebrate these three things than at Doyle’s Public House. The Stadium District English-style bar launched its Oktoberfest Saturday by tapping the firkin â€" the same day the Oktoberfest celebration began in Munich.

Doyle’s celebrates Oktoberfest through Oct. 3 with several events including hard stompin’ Celtic rock band Ockham’s Razor Saturday, Sept. 26.

Beer wise, pints, half liters and full liters of Radeberger Pilsner and Ayinger amber have been tagged as the Oktoberfest beers at Doyle’s. The liter stein is $8 â€" $15 buys the stein for your fireplace.
