Today's comment of the day comes from Nikita in response to the most recent Cup Check column by Matt Driscoll, in which - among other things - he discusses Kobe Bryant's televised use of a homophobic slur.

Nikita writes,

Yes, speaking of alleged womanizers... Kobe Bryant apologized, saying that his comment didn't actually reflect how he feels about the GLBT community. Yeah. Somehow I think it might be different if someone had yelled the N-word at a black ref. I've just about had it up to here with this continual abuse of words that are intended to describe the GLBT community - not to mention the way celebrities get away with everything.
