ANNOUNCER: As part of a property that holds a plant nursery, garden (complete with reception area for 300 people), full-fledged windmill, picture-perfect gazebo, florist shop and Mama Stortini's catering facilities, Windmill Bistro in Sumner is just one of many points of interest. Housed in the restored Sandland home, the bistro menu focuses on Pacific Northwest cuisine. The restaurant has been open since 2002, and the menu showcases native plants, herbs, meats and seafood. Currently serving lunch and weekend breakfast, dinner service will begin in May.
