The second annual Grit City Fest is set to go off on Pacific Avenue in downtown Tacoma Aug. 27-28. A full on music and arts throwdown in the vein of SXSW is the goal of organizers Tre'dmarks Music Group.

The word has been quiet out of the Tre'dmarks camp until yesterday when GCF founder Q-Dot let loose the first batch of bands headed to their main stage at Hell's Kitchen, which includes Ohio rhyme spitter Stalley and Tacoma rockers Seaweed.
