TACOMA IS PRETTY >>>

This fall The Tacoma Regional Convention + Visitor Bureau, otherwise known as the catchy TRCVB, held a photography contest seeking the most awesome photo of Tacoma and Pierce County.

The judges have made their decision.

Congratulations to Sharon Styler for her shot of Ruston Way (see above).

For more details on the contest, read the TRCVB press release after the jump:

The TRCVB selected a photo of Ruston Way submitted by photographer Sharon Styer. Styer's photo captures the essence of Pierce County and reflects where ART + NATURE meet-the TRCVB's tagline. The image speaks to the region's urban sophistication and outdoor adventure and will be used in future destination marketing collateral.

The grand prize for the winning photograph is a Crystal Mountain Getaway package, which includes an overnight stay at Crystal Mountain Hotels, a ride on the scenic Mount Rainier Gondola for two adults and lunch for two at the Summit House.

The Fall Photo Contest ran from Oct. 20 through Nov. 21 and received more than 300 submissions. Photos included scenic views of Mount Rainier, Tacoma Narrows Bridge, fall foliage, Puyallup Fair, Point Defiance Zoo + Aquarium, Tacoma Museum District and more.
