The Tacoma Murals Project is on fire! Another mural is wrapping up this week!
The Hope Heights mural is located at 64th and McKinley and is a vividly colorful addition to an intersection that definitely needs some love. If you want to see the artists in action, they will likely still be working on the mural on Tuesday and Wednesday. As of now, they plan to finish this bodacious Bodhi sometime on Wednesday.
Each mural is led by a teaching artist, and on this one, Joni Joachims headed up the ranks. The artist team was made up of Kate Cendejas, Brian Hutcheson, Yvette Simone, Chelsea O'Sullivan, and Janice Lee Warren.
