By Nikki Talotta on August 29, 2012

Fall is just around the corner, and it’s almost time for the ever-so-welcome wardrobe change.

Sydney Hann, owner of Hot Toddy in Olympia just returned from Las Vegas, where she picked out the store’s fall line.

“There are a lot of items in unusual color combos, which I’m really excited about,” she says. “There are some of the most fun floral prints, too.”

Vintage reproduction with an attention to embellishment and detail are hot right now, especially on dresses.

Trashy Diva and Stop Staring are two of the stores popular lines and feature swing dresses and wiggle dresses.

“There are form-fitting classics and modern styles with vintage flair, too,” says Andrea Cochran, store employee.

Shoes and tights are fall favorites. Ribbon-laced shoes and unicorn prints will be gracing the shelves soon.

When asked what she’d recommend for a fall outfit, Hann answered, “I’d put together a straight skirt or miniskirt, patterned or solid, with tights and some cute flats.”

Look for the new items next week through November at Hot Toddy, 410 Capitol Way S., Olympia, 360.753.0868.
