See Terese Cuff in Tacoma tomorrow

By Kristin Kendle on September 19, 2012

Third Thursday is upon us and with it comes an opening reception at 253 Collective Art Gallery featuring artist Terese Cuff.

Cuff is one of the newer artists to be assimilated into the 253 Collective. She's lived in Tacoma for about 15 years and works largely in the media of painting and printmaking, and has ventured into mural work, illustration, portraiture, and digital work.

"Her work is academic with a desire to be more minimal and succinct. Cuff's process involves trying to bring some kind of order to colliding/converging ideas and impulses with paint," states the 253 Collective's website.

The reception will go on Thursday, September 20, from 3 to 8 p.m. at 1901 S. Jefferson Street, Suite 100 (across from The Swiss).
