Curiously dated cultural references to the likes of Charlie Parker and Gigi fly this way and that in the 50th movie from Woody Allen, starring Timothee Chalamet and Elle Fanning as a couple planning a romantic visit to Manhattan but separated by fate. It plays like a glossy, semi-clever retread of his earlier and better work. - Two and a half stars
