Eddie Murphy struggles with an inane screenplay about a man who learns that after every word he speaks, a leaf falls off the bodhi tree in his backyard. When the last leaf falls, he dies. The movie never quite explains why this is so. It also never convinced me it should have been made. - One and a half stars
