In Bolivia, Butch Cassidy (now calling himself James Blackthorne) pines for one last sight of home, an adventure that aligns him with a young robber and makes the duo a target for gangs and lawmen alike.
Butch Cassidy is now an old man running a horse ranch in Bolivia, and cashes in to return to the states, where he may have a child by Etta Place. But he's waylaid, loses his savings, finds himself helping the thief escape other thieves, and is STILL being chased by a Pinkerton man. A fine performance by Sam Shepard, but little reason to tell this story. - Two out of four stars
