Will Smith's performance, one of his best, as a Nigerian-born pathologist crusading to expose deadly hazards in the NFL is about so much more than the accent. Concussion is a good movie that could have been great without trying so hard to be great. But when it delves deep into the doctor's fight to be heard, it's riveting. - Three stars
