Having been a bartender for 14 years now, Bandito Betty is currently in school to be a physical therapist ... which, coincidentally, is exactly what you'll need when you take a verbal hit from her while she's behind the bar.  Having asked her the typical drink questions, she admits her favorite drink to make is a martini, while her least favorite is the Trashcan.

"Anybody that's drinking that drink is a douchebag," Bandito tells me. "It's obvious you're just out to get wasted - which is stupid."

The worst part of her job, she confides, are the men that hit on her while she's working. With nine tattoos, one of which is a half-sleeve, it seems as though her tats are the only ammunition most men can muster when trying to pick up Bandito Betty.

"They ask me some generic question about my tattoos, I answer them and then they have nothing else to say. And what's worse is that these guys have no tattoos at all," Bandito Betty says with unbelievable angst. "What, am I going to be your freaky experiment for the night? Are you trying to piss off your mother or something?"

You can come prepared to hit on Bandito Betty every weekend at Masa.  Although, don't say I didn't warn you.

I can proudly say I'd never heard of a trashcan cocktail. Sometimes it pays to be old-fashioned.
