Breaking music news (sort of), right here in your trusty Metal Home Companion.

Hot new band Resident Kings are legends in the South Sound region and they've only been together since 2011. Made from pieces of Olympia music greatness the Dirty Birds, Fitz of Depression, Chief and the Pitz, Resident Kings are the most rocking of rock, punk rock and prog rock music.

Like I said, they've only been together since last year, and they're already awesome.

Resident Kings members Jimmi Davies, Brian Sparhawk, Ryan Munguia, Michael Esparza and Tim Brown know how to get an audience rocking out, headbanging, sweaty and full of fierce energy - but do they know how to take care of their ladies?

In order to answer this question I did what I do best: I penetrated his tough exterior and found out what makes Jimmi Davies's heart go pitter-patter. His wife does.

"I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but walking through a hot camp fire and burning my feet got her attention. After that, it took a few years but I got her to go out with me," Davies says with a laugh.

Now that he's gotten her to commit to him for the rest of their lives, how does a Harley dude go about keeping her? Here's Jimmi Davies‘ advice on how to keep your wife from leaving you:

Do all the dirty work. For example, "I clean the cat s*** out of the litter box," says Davies.

Buy her motorcycles for Valentine‘s Day. Davies has bought his wife four of them.

Hide the motorcycle key in a pair of slippers and give them to her as a gift. Apparently deception works for Davies.

Do the laundry. "I know that the bras go in the little mesh bag. I got that part down," Davies tells his fellow men of laundry.

Make the coffee in the morning.  "Just don't drink it all before she gets up," he advises.

Pick up the box of tampons from the grocery store when she asks. Davies confides, "Happened just last week. She texted, so I did it. I was on my Harley and in full leather, too. It takes a real chopper jockey to pick up a box on tampons on his motorcycle for his wife."

So there you go, kids of pure hardcore rock and future husbands of hot rocker wives, advice from a legend. After all, the Davies have been married for almost eight years, so he must be doing something right.
