This Friday is "Shut the Stage Down," in Seattle, and while I hate to send you north, half the bill is from Tacoma. It is E-Dawg's version of a Summer-Jam, so-to-speak. The show is brought to us by E's Radio. It is sort of a shirk to the Seattle Hip-Hop elite. It features artists Kept See, Leezy Soprano, Sonny Bonoho, Cool Nutz, Julie C, Lady Tasz, General Wojack, Un Therhymehustla, Swift Tongues, and Parker. It's hosted by Ras Kass, Lady Scribe, and Gene Dexter. This show is one of the best chances to see some of the realest, most true-school, official, Hip-Hop. There are no Swag rappers, Hip-Pop, or pure gangsta-music on this bill. It's all intelligent Hip-Hop, creative music, and true lyricism- in the vein of Zulu-Nation. During the show two of Seattle's most well-known and loved video-shows will be honored: Georgio Brown of Cool Out Network, and Gordon Curvy of Music Innercity TV. Incredibly, this show is only $10 presale - $15 at-the-door, at 88 Keys, 315 2nd Avenue South, Seattle, 98104. E-Dawg is Tacoma and over half the artists on the bill are from Tacoma. This is possibly the most Hip-Hop talent under one roof this year.

Incredible show! Lady Tasz represented the ladies WELL! Boogie Brow, Un & Sire, Sonny Bonoho were just a few of the cats that lit the place up! A great show; also saw a lot of Seatown legends in the audience such as Maharaji, Attitude Adjuster, Big Ceec and more. Hot night! Well done E's Way!
