I normally don't drink cocktails - I mostly stick to well whiskey. But, when I'm feeling ostentatious, or if someone else is buying, these are the drinks I remember best (in no particular order):

White Russian, New Frontier Lounge: A drink that I had tolerated at other bars was a revelation at The New Frontier. Made with real espresso to balance out the Kahlua, a pleasant robustness replaces the usual sickening sweetness.

Need For Speed, Six Olives: Admittedly silly, and served in a car-shaped tray, these eight mixed shots combine caffeine-and-guarana-infused vodka with guava juice. The last and best thing I can remember drinking on my 21st birthday.

Under the Volcano, 1022 South: The cocktails at 1022 South are so endlessly inventive and unparalleled in these parts that it's hard to pick one favorite. I will say that Under the Volcano burns real good, and it's not for the faint of heart.

Manhattan, Crown Bar: A classic done right in a great atmosphere. Makes you feel like a million bucks.

Bloody Mary, Puget Sound Pizza: There are many fine drinks at PSP, but you would do well to be aware of the delightful Bloody Mary served during the restaurant's hangover-obliterating breakfasts. - Rev. Adam McKinney
