On Dec. 17, members of the Pierce Military and Business Alliance led Operations Ham Grenade and Turkey Drop. The hams and turkeys were given to members of the 22nd Special Tactics Squadron, 62nd and 446th Airlift Wings, and the Western Air Defense Sector. First sergeants ensured that the turkeys and hams were given to younger enlisted airmen. The members of PMBA include:  The Boeing C-17 Program, Harborstone Credit Union, America's Credit Union, American Lake Credit Union, Concrete Technology, TriWest Healthcare Alliance, Regence BlueShield, Tactical Tailor, CoinForce.com, DeVry University and Keller Graduate School, The Washington Credit Union Foundation, The Pierce County Council, The Ranger & Northwest Airlifter newspapers, Luce and Associates, the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce and GEICO Insurance.
