The band's name implies intoxication via the metallic red stuff, but the sound is that of pure, trashy beer and whiskey. Blooddrunk Shenanigans are part of a long-standing tradition of drunken UK blokes and the fiery punk they create. (Even though they appear to be from Texas. Weird.) Lead singer Timmy Kin has a Shane MacGowan-esque brogue that manages to convey equal parts anger and wry, smirking sarcasm. One gets the impression the band's real intoxication - apart from booze and cigarettes - is chaos. Song after song, Blooddrunk Shenanigans make it clear that the aftermath of the drink ("Let's Fight," "Get Up and Yell," "Let's Rock") is more rewarding than the drink itself. Grab a whiskey, catch ‘em live and slam head-on into your fellow man.

We had a great time at the show and a really fun tour! As I write, we are on our way home to Nashville, a non stop drive from San Francisco. The band is based out of Nashville where Pepper Denny (drums) and I (guitar) live. Scotty Stephens (bass) lives just outside Fresno, CA and singer, Timmy Kin, is from and lives in Sydney, Australia. The band was Pepper's project. He wrote the songs and recorded the CD with friends, flew Timmy in to do vocals and booked the first tour. Scotty and I were added and 2 practices later, hit the road on the 6 week US tour. You can find out more on the web. The CD is available on iTunes and can be heard on Jango as well as the band's web site: www.blooddrunkshenanigans.com.

Early next year we plan to tour Australia and Europe with another US tour in the summer.
