If you're looking for an excellent date night or perhaps just an excuse to get out on the town, check out Broadway Sizzle, a communal table dinner in the heart of Tacoma on Broadway taking place Aug. 31. A fantastic event on its own, the dinner can even be combined with Broadway Center for the Performing Arts' premier night of the national touring musical Chicago.

Chef Dustin Joseph's menu makes your mouth water just reading it. "My main inspiration with the menu was to keep it local and focus on the amazing bounty of the Pacific Northwest in the summertime," he said.

Menu items include grilled corn with fresh burrata, rosemary grilled Columbia River salmon, a salad made with cucumber, kale and farro and more ... all utilizing ingredients from local farms.

"Broadway Sizzle isn't cheap, but it's an incredible value for what folks are getting. If they choose to add on a discounted ticket to the incredible national tour of Chicago, they have an unforgettable experience in the heart of the city," said Benjii Bittle, Broadway Center's Deputy Executive Director.

Ticket sales benefit Tacoma Free For All, Broadway Center's 100 percent free programming each month.
