Everything needs a day. Or a month. Even children's dental health. Luckily, the Pierce County Dental Society is all over it - and has been for some time. As part of the overarching Dental Health Month, Saturday the Pierce County Dental Society will put on its 21st annual Children's Dental Health Day celebration at the South Hill Mall.
Where did you expect it to be?
According to promotion, children ages infant to 18 are eligible for a free dental screening, free fluoride varnish application, and a free mouth guard, Face paiting and The Tooth Fairy will also be involved ... because why the hell not?
Children that bring in a drawing of them brushing their teeth will be entered to win a family membership to the Point Defiance Zoo.
PREDICTION: The 2012 Dental Health Day is sponsored by Orange Julius and Spencer Gifts.
[South Hill Mall - Center Court, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., free, 3500 S. Meridian Ave. #494, Puyallup, 253.274.9722]

This is a great yearly event. If you know a kid who may be in need of dental care and their family can't afford it, make sure they make it to South Hill Mall, Saturday Feb 4th. This isn't a big marketing scam... just decent people doing the right thing.
