For at least 12 years, Gig Harbor's Paradise Theatre has been molding today's youth into tomorrow's next generation of on stage performers.  From musical theater summer camps to year-round Broadway performances, Paradise Theatre has made its mark on entertainment in the South Puget Sound.

Introduce your child to the art of musicals, a form of entertainment that incorporates stage acting with theatrical dance and vocal arrangements. By taking part in one of the most established and reputable summer camps in Washington state, parents can watch their child grow in self confidence and develop a positive demeanor. 

Paradise Theatre's 2012 Summer Musical Theatre Camp is designed for kids between the ages of three and 18, with each age group tailored to specific developmental needs.

Thespian tikes ages 3 to 5 attend for half days and will take on crafts, pretend role-play, dancing and singing while kiddos ages 6 to 9 bring Disney's The Aristocrat Kids to life in a two-week summer session.

Show Biz Kids takes on the energetic "tween" kids ages 10 to 13. Excerpts from three Broadway musicals will be rehearsed and performed. High school stage goers will also enjoy performing excerpts from three Broadway musicals with an additional overnight stay that involves games and tons of fun.

Just having moved into a new office and rehearsal space located in Gig Harbor off Burnham Drive, Paradise Theatre boasts tons of storage and a new, ice-cold air conditioner.  Residents of Gig Harbor and its surrounding areas know well what a luxury A/C can be during the summer.  Imagine standing under blaring stage lights during those two hot weeks of summer, you can only imagine how grateful a camp full of musical theatre students will be.

In the off-season (of summer musical theatre camp, that is), Paradise Theatre is known for its colorful performances of stage classics such as Hairspray, Annie, Grease and Bye Bye Birdie.  Come October, the Paradise Theatre transforms itself into the annual "Theatrical Haunt," something every Pacific Northwest native should have the pride in saying they've attended at least once.  Scare me once, shame on you. Scare me twice, shame on me. Boo!
