STEPH DEROSA: MONTHLY WINE SPECIAL IS NOW WEEKLY! >>>
Well I’ll be damned. For some strange reason, and I don’t know if it’s just because her new bifocals have been messing with her brain, but Megan The Red Hot bartender has not 86’d Bandito Betty and me from Wino Wednesdays at said Sixth Avenue tavern. That’s some messy luck right there, if you ask me.
Once again, one of my favorite all-time drinking establishments, The Red Hot, will be hosting a night for those of us who dabble in drinks of the fermented grape varietal. Tonight, you can join me and bifocal-wearing Megan for large pours of Vintage Ink, Cycles Gladiator Pinot Noir, 14 Hands Cab, and Tilia Malbec/Syrah Blend during The Red Hot’s NOW weekly Wino Wednesday event. If you prefer things on the lighter side, bifocal Megan will be pouring whites such as Kestrel Pure Platinum, Kamiak White, and 14 Hands Chardonnay â€" all for only $3.
Look, I know it’s my job to try and convince you that this shit is cool and you really need to be there, but in this instance I’m not kidding when I say you’re surely missing out if you intend on skipping this one. True story: This past Friday the Weekly Volcano’s very own Sandee Glib (remember her?) brought over an obscene amount of Tilia Malbec/Syrah Blend for my cronies and me to experience, and it surprisingly rocked our world. So much so that I wanted to bathe in Tilia Malbec/Syrah Blend that night. The stuff is good, I jest you not.
I mean, think about it â€" who knows more about getting your wine-drink on than me? Besides Lindsey Lohan. What? Too soon?
